Leverages shame: you’ll stay poor/fat/stupid/ugly unless you buy now!

Intentionally creates “pain point triggering” and uses fear to make people buy.

Uses scarcity and agitation to bully people into emotional states. Purposely uses language to provoke fear, worry. Catastrophizes.

BABBLE

Manufactures false, unearned authority.

Uses social privilege and leisure to claim ‘expertise’ and coerce people into buying.

Uses likeability (I’m so sweet and relatable, how could I possibly take advantage of you?) and relentless toxic positivity to manipulate and override consent.

YOU’RE TOO SMART, TOO SAVVY & TOO NUANCED FOR THIS.
